ARTHUR HOWARD is the illustrator of the Bubba and Beau series by Kathi Appelt. He has also written and illustrated four picture books of his own: "Serious Trouble, Hoodwinked, When I Was Five, " and C"osmo Zooms. "He lives in New York City.
