Author Biography

Francesco Sedita is the author of This is the First Book I Will Read to You and Our Italian Christmas Eve, which he cowrote with his sister Danielle Sedita. He is also the creator of the Miss Popularity book series and the Emmy-winning The Who Was? Show on Netflix. He lives in New York City.

Magenta Fox is the illustrator of This is the First Book I Will Read to You by Francesco Sedita and The Surprise by Zadie Smith and Nick Laird. She works as a children's book illustrator and designer in south London, where she loves to make ornaments for her Christmas tree.
